Summarize your work in one word?
Feelings
What inspires you to continue making work?
The need to express my feelings and the wish for authenticity
What are you currently working on at the moment?
At the moment I’m reflecting about loneliness and isolation and how it’s already been increasing before covid. I explore the need and healing power of connection and I dream of creating a safe space for people to be their authentic selves and share their feelings.
Who inspires you most to push your work further?
Artist and university mentor Josefine Henning, aesthetic enthusiast Nana, my beautiful friends and fellow art students, more inspiring artists such as Johanna Dumet, Tracey Emin, Oscar Murillo, Daisy Parris.
If you could say anything to your former self, regarding your art practice, that would help you progress what would it be?
I wouldn’t give my former self any advice because I had to go through all the experience to have a natural process.
